Walter U. Baker

Tampa, Florida 

Mr. Baker founded Meridian Partners in 1999 and serves as Managing Partner for the Tampa and Miami offices.  He has over twenty years of retained search experience with Signium International Meridian Partners, LAI Worldwide (Lamalie) and Russell Reynolds Associates.  Prior to founding Meridian Partners, Mr. Baker was a Partner at LAI Worldwide. His practice focus includes International, Not for Profit, and Industrial sectors and he has deep expertise with Florida-based companies.  He has extensive sales and marketing experience gained at MCI Communications and Ralston Purina.  Mr. Baker is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and holds a Master’s Degree in International Management, with a concentration in Marketing, from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird).
